The sensor-oriented RWL data is developed into display pixels using demosaicing, white balance, tone, orientation, and color interpretation before GIF encoding. That makes the result a rendered photograph, not another untouched camera negative. The Leica RWL path selects the camera profile and recorded crop before interpreting sensor samples, lens metadata, orientation, and capture color. GIF output reduces frames to indexed palettes and binary transparency, so color selection, dithering, disposal, timing, loop seam, and absent audio define quality.
