Privacy
Read how Converter.now handles temporary uploads, short-lived downloads, Google sign-in details, saved files, metadata, retention, and account controls.
The short version
Temporary conversion files are retained only for the configured short download window. Saved files belong to the signed-in account. OAuth passwords never reach Converter.now, and secrets remain server-side.
What happens to your file and account data
A file can contain more than the content you see. Names, locations, authors, edit history, comments, and device details may sit inside metadata. Check that information before uploading. Use only files that your personal, school, or workplace rules allow you to process online.
Temporary uploads
Converter.now stores an uploaded file in a random working location while the requested operation runs. Temporary inputs and results are scheduled for deletion after the displayed retention window.
Files you choose to save
A finished file is added to the private library only after a signed-in user selects Save. Library downloads and deletion actions check account ownership before returning or changing a record.
Google sign-in
Google OAuth supplies the identity details needed to create an account session. Converter.now does not receive or store a Google password. OAuth client secrets remain on the server.
A quick checklist
- ✓Remove personal metadata that the receiver does not need.
