XVID to AAC: the audio-stream extraction route explained

Converter.now selects the audio stream in XVID, leaves the picture stream out, and encodes that sound as AAC. The result is audio, not a silent copy of the video. Xvid-labeled input is checked for its actual container, MPEG-4 Part 2 bitstream features, packed frames, display aspect, and companion audio. An AAC elementary-stream result carries coded audio frames without the richer tags, chapters, artwork, and track metadata of an M4A container.
