Convert MID to MOV online. See the real audio-only container delivery behavior, preservation limits, and a format-specific acceptance test.
MID audio is what actually exists here, and it gets encoded straight into a MOV media container. No artwork or motion is invented, so the resulting MOV file can carry no meaningful video stream at all. MID input is interpreted as timestamped musical events, tempo changes, programs, controllers, and channel messages - Not as recorded waveform samples. MOV delivery uses QuickTime track and sample structures suited to Apple and editing workflows, with codec, color, time-scale, chapter, and cross-platform support checked separately.
Decoded from MIDI performance events describing notes, timing, controllers, programs, and channels rather than recorded sound. Encoded to a QuickTime container written here with H.264 video and AAC audio.
Used for encoded audio covering music, speech, or effects.
Designed for editing and Apple-oriented video workflows.
Converting MIDI to audio requires a synthesizer and sound library; different instruments produce different audible results.
MOV support varies outside Apple and editing software, while source captions or extra tracks may not be retained.
The verified MOV profile uses H.264 video at CRF 23 and AAC audio at 192 kbit/s.
Inspect tempo, program changes, percussion channel, sustain, pitch bends, loop length, and the chosen rendered instruments.
Scrub the timeline and verify frame size, frame rate, audio sync, color, and target-app playback.
This route only makes sense when the destination workflow explicitly wants audio wrapped in MOV - It does not generate a music visualizer or a slideshow.
