Convert M4R to MOV online. See the real audio-only container delivery behavior, preservation limits, and a format-specific acceptance test.
The available M4R audio is encoded into the MOV media container. Converter.now does not synthesize artwork or moving pictures, so an audio-only source can produce a MOV file without a meaningful video stream. M4R is handled as a ringtone-oriented MPEG-4 audio package whose short duration, AAC track, loop expectation, and metadata differ from a music album file. MOV delivery uses QuickTime track and sample structures suited to Apple and editing workflows, with codec, color, time-scale, chapter, and cross-platform support checked separately.
Decoded media - An iPhone ringtone container based on MPEG-4 audio with ringtone-specific use and duration expectations. Encoded delivery profile - A QuickTime container written here with H.264 video and AAC audio.
Used for encoded audio covering music, speech, or effects.
Designed for editing and Apple-oriented video workflows.
A playable AAC file is not automatically accepted as a ringtone if duration, import method, or media type is wrong.
MOV support varies outside Apple and editing software, while source captions or extra tracks may not be retained.
The verified MOV profile uses H.264 video at CRF 23 and AAC audio at 192 kbit/s.
Confirm M4R recognition, ringtone length, clean loop or ending, loudness, and import on the target iPhone.
Scrub the timeline and verify frame size, frame rate, audio sync, color, and target-app playback.
Use this route only when the receiving workflow specifically accepts audio inside MOV. It is not a music-visualizer or slideshow generator.
